Euro Skim League Rd 4 Results – Newquay, UK

Wow, what a weekend!

Newquay delivered the best conditions of ANY Euro Skim League this year. The riders from all over Europe were blessed with 2-3ft glassy conditions with connectable siders, and it wasn't long before the best riders started to shine.

There wasn't a bad word to be said about the event or the conditions, and everybody we spoke were having a good time.

The party on Saturday night at the Walkabout Bar in Newquay was awesome, and there were many comments from our European cousins that the "English definitely know how to party"!

The event was eventually won by Hugo Santos, with Mega coming in 2nd. Tristan Lamy was 3rd and Mario David de Souza Gomes was 4th. The highest placed UK rider was Adam Wootton in 6th place, and the best under 16 was Ollie Bowen.

Mega won the overall European Skimboard League, and his prize is a trip to south America to compete in a contest there!
